How to read a US casino promotion's terms
Read a promotion as a sequence of conditions: eligibility, award, use, conversion, and withdrawal. This makes omissions easier to spot before opting in.

- Record the exact state and offer version.
- Check specific terms together with general account rules.
- Resolve contradictory wording before spending.
Build a five-stage map
Start with eligibility: age, location, account status, invitation requirements, and excluded payment methods. Next identify the trigger, such as an opt-in followed by a qualifying deposit. Then record the award type. Finally map what is required to use, convert, and withdraw it.
This sequence catches missing steps. An advertisement may explain the award but not when it expires. A terms page may explain conversion but leave the qualifying payment method elsewhere. Follow referenced documents rather than assuming the short page is complete.
Watch definitions and precedence
Words such as net loss, qualifying wager, new customer, cash, and day can have special definitions. Search for the definition before using the ordinary meaning. A day may be a calendar period in a named time zone rather than 24 hours from acceptance.
Check whether specific promotional terms override general bonus conditions, and save both versions. If two clauses appear inconsistent, ask support to explain how they apply to the same example. A written clarification is useful evidence but does not itself rewrite the governing terms.
Make the result usable
Create a short note containing the offer ID, acceptance time, deposit trigger, multiplier base, contribution rules, maximum wager, deadline, and cancellation consequences. Add the source URL and screenshots. This is a reading aid, not a substitute for the original text.
Do the affordability check last but before accepting. If following the conditions would change your spending or time limits, the terms have already answered the decision. You do not need to accept a promotion to learn how it works.
- Eligibility and state edition confirmed
- Award currency and qualifying trigger identified
- Wagering base and contribution recorded
- Deadlines and maximum wager recorded
- Cancellation and withdrawal effects understood
Worked example · hypothetical
Hypothetical example
For a fictional offer, a summary says '20x' while detailed terms say '20 times deposit and bonus.' On a $25 deposit and $25 award, the target is $1,000 rather than $500. The missing base doubles the described turnover.

Common questions
Should I trust a comparison table over the terms?
No. A table can be incomplete or stale. Verify against the exact state-specific offer.
What if support and the written terms disagree?
Keep both records, ask for clarification, and avoid accepting while the material condition remains unresolved.
